Make change happen

In Commerzbank's corporate banking, a new collaboration between corporate account managers and risk management employees was established. We accompanied the change management.

Above all, it was about a shared understanding and a change in daily cooperation behaviour. We first conducted interviews with sounding partners and project participants in which risks, problems, opportunities and expectations of the new role allocation were worked out.

MASCARA has processed the findings into a story that describes the restart in a comprehensible and positive manner from an employee perspective. This visualised story was the basis for the project's rollout to 1,500 employees.

Managers received training as change agents and a practical workshop toolbox for rollout in their departments. At the technical level, employees were trained as multipliers, and each employee received a compact handout with all the relevant information.

When we decided on MASCARA, the project was in a hot phase for the planning rollout. We were looking for a flexible and fast delivering agency for our change communication. Creative, bubbling with ideas, while internalising Commerzbank's corporate design, flexible and fast, short distances and always personal commitment and presence on-site: that is how Ms Müller works. Her service is characterised by quality and speed in delivery, although adjustments were still possible until shortly before the end. And sustainability: for example, the COMET pocket guide is still used today. It has already been copied for other project rollouts because it is handy and at hand in the workplace.
